"Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; For I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. " —Matthew 11:28-30

Integrating Seminar: Awaken our Identity as Beloved Sons and Daughters of God

In our mobilizing and globalizing world, what remains essential to us as Catholics? What is our fundamental Catholic identity when our schools, careers, and relationships change?

On Sunday, November 24th, Deacon Vince Richardson, an intern deacon at St. Mary’s, will speak on our fundamental Christian identity as beloved sons and daughters of the living God. On the basis of the Scriptures and Church teaching he will present on our essential relationship with God, engage in group discussion, and give practical applications for how to live out this identity in the changing modern context.

Come down to Newman Hall from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM on the 24th for a light lunch and an engaging presentation directed at awakening our identity as adopted sons and daughters of the living God.

For further information, please contact Deacon Vince at vrichardson@smspnewman.org.
