Alternative Spring Break Mission

The Alternative Spring Break program challenges students to:

The Alternative Spring Break program challenges students to learn about and critically examine interlinking issues such as homelessness, poverty, hunger, violence, environmental destruction, and marginalization of social groups. By spending time preparing for and serving in diverse communities, students will be provoked to take thoughtful, meaningful action towards the resolution of these social problems. By emphasizing spirituality and Catholic social justice, we hope to continue a commitment to community service and social change while building new friendships and alliances.
