"Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; For I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. " —Matthew 11:28-30

Graduate Student / Young Professional Discussion Group

Lead Team

Main | Getting Started | Topic Ideas | Format Ideas | Lead Team

The Grad Group Lead Team is here to coordinate meetings and to be a resource for people who volunteer to lead discussions. Besides just helping with any supplies you need (e.g., a projector, TV, CD player, etc.), we can help in a variety of other ways.

If you have an idea for a topic and would like to talk it through with someone, bounce some ideas around, or get some feedback, ask us. Either one of us will help, or we can point you to someone who can. We can also help with format ideas; not all grad group meetings have — or even should have — the same format; for some topics, a different format is best. And if you don't want to lead discussion alone, we can help find someone who would be interested in working with you on that discussion, too!

So, we're here... If you can use us, don't hesitate to ask!
